Golf Europe 2012 improves handicap with new features

EUROPE - Messe Augsburg is giving its exhibition Golf Europe a makeover with the addition of new features this year.

Attendees at this year’s event will be introduced to several new events including a first-time exhibitors area, pre-event golf competition and new award categories.

Golf Europe 2012 moves to Augsburg from Munich, and takes place on 16-18 September. On 15 September a business-to-business Demo Day and the public Augsburg Golf Day take place at GolfRange Augsburg, a prelude to the international trade fair.

The exhibition features two areas; one that can only be accessed by trade visitors and another open to the general golfing public for testing the latest golf industry products on the local course.

“Visitors to Golf Europe 2012 can expect to see a lot of familiar features - but there will also be a whole host of things they’ve never seen before,” said a spokesman for the event.

The show’s predominantly European exhibitors will be presenting their latest products and services. One new feature at this year’s fair is the First Drive area in Hall 1 for first-time exhibitors. A the same time, information and coaching tips will be offered through a free teaching and coaching programme run in conjunction with PGAs of Europe and Germany, where top experts will be on hand to provide visitors with tips and suggestions.

Another new creation this year is the Golf Europe Product Award, presented to companies in the golf industry that are continuously looking to develop innovative products.
