Fensterbau/Frontale India moves to Mumbai

ASIA - Messe Nuremberg is moving its Fensterbau/Frontale India event to Mumbai for its 2013 edition, following successful outings in Delhi and Bangalore.

After two successful editions in Delhi and Bangalore, Fensterbau/Frontale India will now be held at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, in Mumbai, one of the country’s largest trading cities.

According to Messe Nuremberg, the event’s debut in 2011 drew 3,717 trade visitors and 69 exhibitors, while the 2012 event exceeded these figures. The 2013 event is expected to continue this growth.

The 2013 event will run from 7 to 9 March, showcasing the latest technologies and innovations on windows, doors and facades to the industry.

Analysis from German Trade and Invest (GTAI) places growth in the Indian building industry at 10 per cent a year, with Indian building experts particularly focusing on sustainability, energy efficiency and green buildings.

Fensterbau/Frontale India showcases manufacturers, processors, architects, planners and building experts from India, Asia and Europe. On show will be semi-finished materials, production aids, components and prefabricated elements, hardware, fixing equipment, shading and ventilating equipment, as well as machines, installations and tools.

A new trade expo for the mechanical electrical and plumbing industry in India will debut in Mumbai next year.
