EUROPE - AmberExpo, the new exhibition and congress centre in Gdansk, has opened.
The venue in the northern Poland city, offers 12,000 sqm of exhibition space in three halls and four modern conference halls, offering capacity for 1,130 people. The conference halls are complemented by six VIP rooms, which offer space for up to 20 people.
AmberExpo is next to the PGE Arena, which will host four games at the upcoming Euro 2012 football championships.
“This will make Gdansk conference and business meetings offer even more for events and meetings organizers,” said Gdansk Tourist Organization CEO Anna Górska. “We were lacking such a great venue in the Pomerania region.”
Plans for the new conference and exhibition centre in Gdansk were announced last year.
