EUROPE - New active lifestyle show is launching in the Swedish city of Gothenburg next year.
Nordic Outdoor will focus on a range of outdoor lifestyle pursuits including climbing, hiking, running, cycling, skiing, adventure activities, travel, kayaking, diving, photography and food and will be held at the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre on 3-5 May 2013. The show is being organised by the Swedish venue’s events team.
“We have seen clear signals that the timing is perfect for a public outdoor lifestyle event in Gothenburg, and look forward to creating a meeting place for everyone who is curious, active and interested,” exhibition manager Angela Anyai said. The city’s strong outdoor recreation reputation is a catalyst for the new show.
Alongside exhibitors, visitors will have the opportunity to sample a variety of activities, as well as attend information sessions. Theorganiser hopes to attract consumers from across Scandinavia. The organiser hopes to get 18,000 visitors and 150 exhibitors.
Earlier this year, exhibition venues across Scandinavia joined forces to create the world’s first sustainable events and meeting region via an industry-wide accord.
