US company releases paperless expo solution

AMERICAS - US technology solutions company CompuSystems (CSI) has developed an electronic literature solution to make marketing materials easier more accessible and less expensive to attendees.

The company claims its new software will tempt more companies to attend exhibitions as a result of reducing costs associated with printing and shipping sales literature to event stands. It also enables exhibitors to get follow-up literature much more quickly into the hands of leads they meet at a show.

Exhibitors that purchase CSI's electronic literature package can upload brochures and other marketing materials in a PDF format, which CSI then makes available to attendees for download. Attendees can access the exhibitor literature within the dashboard on their registration website, in both the show's mobile app ConnectME Mobile and via the BuyerConnect post-show lead follow-up portal.

This can be used with CSI's mobile app for lead retrieval, CompuLEAD Smart, and they can also send the literature to attendees after meeting on their stand using the app. Company exposure is also increased with potential leads they might never meet, and who also accessed their company literature.

A spokesman for CSI said the literature package is also expected to appeal to exhibitors keen to reduce their carbon footprint, as the system reduces the negative impact of paper waste.
