New spa event comes to Thailand

ASIA - The Thai Spa Association has hooked up with the Impact Exhibition and Convention Centre to host the World Spa and Well-being Convention 2012 in September.

The show will be in Hall 4 of the venue in Muang Thong Thani, located outside Bangkok, from 19 to 21 September.

Trade visitors are invited to the 5,000sqm show for the first two days, with the last day set aside for the general public. It will target spa operators, education centres, product suppliers, architects, interior designers and consultants.

Attendance is expected to be more than 3,000 trade visitors, and 5,000 from the general public. About 180 companies are set to exhibit.

“The spa industry is a significant economic contributor to many Asian countries as well as Thailand,” said Thai Spa Association president Andrew Jacka.

“With the theme of ‘Education, Standards and Innovative’, World Spa and Well-being Convention 2012 is a dedicated platform for the spa and wellbeing industries, and is expected to set new standards and help drive drive the sector forward to new levels across the region.”

The show will be co-located with Pool and SpaTech Asia 2012.

Asian Exhibition Services recently launched a green vehicle event in Bangkok.
