Temporary structure specialist De Boer appoints new CEO

EUROPE - International supplier of temporary accommodation for large events and business solutions De Boer has appointed a new CEO.

Arnout de Hair takes the top seat at De Boer on 1 July, succeeding Lucas Covers, who is leaving the company.

Mr de Hair has been working for De Boer for more than 14 years and held management board positions in logistics and IT, having served since 2001 as chief logistics officer since 2001.

Despite the strong fluctuation in the economy, De Boer claims to have achieved significant annual growth and a full 2012 order book that includes contracts at a number of major international events.

A spokesman for the company claimed it will achieve a positive result this year, having been through a challenging period in the wake of the global recession.

“Arnout de Hair has broad experience in the operational management of De Boer and he is well acquainted with the market and its clients,” said the spokesman. “Under his leadership the company will move into a new phase, with a focus on strengthening productivity, developing new and innovative structures and further improving profitability.”
