ASIA – This year’s Hong Kong Learning and Teaching Expo will be organised by Diversified Events Hong Kong for the first time.
The event will be organised by Diversified, presented by Hong Kong Education City and supported by the Education Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Diversified confirmed the 2012 event will take place on 22-24 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with an increased focus on the development of e-learning and e-textbooks in Hong Kong, as well as new areas dedicated to the needs of children with Special Educational Needs in inclusive settings.
Mr She Mang, executive director of Hong Kong Education City, said: “Following the successful organisation of the Learning and Teaching Expo in 2010 and 2011, we are introducing some important changes for 2012. We believe the new November timing of the event will be better suited for teachers and schools sourcing new learning technologies for implementation in the following academic year.”
“In addition, our new partnership with Diversified Events Hong Kong will allow Learning and Teaching Expo to build on the previous two events and to expand and draw visitors and exhibitors from a wider geographical base.”
