UBM India launches new NGO show

ASIA - UBM India is launching a show for the corporate social responsibility (CSR) and non-governmental organisation (NGO) communities at Gurgaon’s Epicenter venue in the north of the country next month.

The NGO India 2012 show, on 16 - 18 March will be supported by Oxfam, The National Trust, NGO information provider Guidestar India and Indian business and industry organisation FICCI. It will feature 150 exhibition stands.

The exhibition follows similar initiatives launched by UBM in other regions.

"We have seen tremendous benefits to the NGOs that have participated in our events in London and Brazil and we hope to replicate this success in India,” said UBM India MD Sanjeev Khaira.
“It has been an excellent platform for NGOs to highlight their work and for CSR professionals to identify and network with NGOs operating in a large number of fields.”

The Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) has elected a new president and vice-president.
