SIMM doubles number of participating brands

EUROPE - The Madrid International Fashion Fair (SIMM) is increasing its international attendance with an expanded representation from French companies.
 
The event, organised by Feria de Madrid (IFEMA), will feature 800 companies on 2 to 4 February, double the number of attendants in 2011. This edition of SIMM features more than 30 companies from France.
 
The event also sees a modest increase in terms of its exhibition area, which rises to 13,850sqm.
 
IFEMA Fashion Showrooms, a specialist side event launched last year to showcase brands from the medium-high fashion segment at the North Convention Centre, has increased by 22 per cent to include 100 companies.
 
The summer edition of SIMM was pushed back to re-occupy its original slot in 2010.
