UBM boosts Chinese exhibitions with conference element

ASIA - UBM Trust, a joint venture company of UBM Asia, is adding conference components to the co-located exhibitions LED China 2012 and Sign China 2012.

LED China 2012 is one of the world’s largest events dedicated to the entire LED industry supply chain, taking place alongside Sign China running on 20-23 February at the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex Area B in Guangzhou.

This year the event will introduce the China LED Intellectual Property Summit and the China International LED Application Forum, aimed at educating attendees on the business opportunities and developments of LED lighting across Asia.

The China International LED Application Forum, taking place on 19 and 21 February, will host more than 200 global LED industry executives and government officials discussing the current LED market, standards and certification processes.

On 20 February, the first annual China LED Intellectual Property Summit will take place within the same venue, providing an educational forum on LED intellectual property in China and worldwide.

“LED lighting is one of the current new trends in the lighting industry and is set to replace traditional lighting across the globe," Senior VP of UBM Asia, Mike Tan, said. "With the introduction of the IP Summit and the LED Application Forum alongside the LED and Sign China trade fairs, we aim to provide a complete well-rounded business and educational experience for all members of the industry.”
