Paper Arabia organiser and Adforum sign partnership

MIDDLE EAST - Global pulp and paper exhibition organiser Adforum has inked a new agreement with the owners of Paper Arabia to boost the trade show’s profile in Europe and the Americas.

Paper Arabia is owned and run by Middle East organiser Al Fajer Information and Services (AFIS). The new deal will see Adforum become AFIS' overseas associate in Europe and the Americas. The next edition of Paper Arabia will be held in Dubai from 1 to 3 October.

“Working together with Adforum is an excellent strategic move for us and I believe that this can only make Paper Arabia a bigger and better show,” AFIS general manager Satish Khanna said. “Adforum has the experience and the contacts we require to get a good number of European and American companies to exhibit in Dubai.”

Paper Arabia is focused on the international paper, tissue and converting industries and held its fourth edition in 2011. The expo attracted 126 exhibitors and nearly 6,000 visitors from 74 countries.

“This really strengthens our portfolio of world-leading pulp and paper events and I am pleased Adforum can now offer another important trade show to our customers,” Adforum CEO Marcus Bergström said. “The Middle East is an exciting and up-and-coming market for many of the companies we know.”

Adforum was established in 1968 and is owned by Stockholm International Fairs and the Finnish Fair Corporation. It organises large pulp and paper events globallyincluding SPCI (Stockholm), PulPaper (Helsinki), China Paper (Beijing/Shanghai), IPX Russia (Moscow) and IPX India (Mumbai), a new exhibition being launched this year in conjunction with Inter Ads Brooks.
