Inaugural horse and camel exhibition underway in Muscat

MIDDLE EAST – The advisor to the Sultan of Oman has opened the debut International Horse and Camel Exhibition at the nation's International Exhibition Centre in Muscat.

The exhibition, organised by Vision Exhibitions Company, features regional exhibitors from the UAE and Jordan, with several European nations - Germany, Britain and France - also taking part.

His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tareq al Said, adviser to the Sultan, oversaw the opening ceremony of the exhibition, which finishes on 25 January.

General manager of organiser Vision Exhibitions Company, Marwan Naeem Suwaid, said the exhibition will be attended by Oman’s Royal Cavalry, Royal Camel Corps, Royal Oman Police Cavalry, Oman Equestrian Federation and Oman Camel Racing Federation.

The debut event also features a strong performance element, including equestrian and camel riding.

Omanexpo launched its rebranded hospitality event Food and Hotel Oman in December at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
