Montgomery Worldwide launches new identity

EUROPE - UK-based organiser Montgomery Worldwide has officially rebranded with a new company name and corporate identity as part of a ‘new phase of growth’.

With immediate effect the company will be known only as Montgomery, a move it claims will help to be more recognisable in the international marketplace. Montgomery is a part of several joint ventures around the world in which it is referred to only by the first word of its trading name.

“Due to the change within the company, Montgomery required a new brand identity to reflect its longstanding history within the events industry and growing nature of the company,” said Montgomery MD Damion Angus. “This needed to be immediately recognisable in all the international markets in which we operate.”

As all the interests of the global group will be represented by the Montgomery brand, Montgomery Exhibitions and Montgomery International will continue to exist as organisational entities only. Andry Montgomery, the holding company of Montgomery, will now trade under the title Angus Montgomery.

The company recently purchased Reed’s 50 per cent stake in its UK joint venture events company Fresh RM, now trading as Fresh Montgomery.

This year Montgomery launched 11 new events including hospitality and food events in Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka. Next year the company plans to launch six new launch shows and will re-enter the Libyan market with two international trade shows and conferences Infrastructure Libya 2012 and Oil & Gas Libya 2012.
