ASIA – Fledgling exhibition company Asian Exhibition Services (AES) has secured the international sales and marketing bid for the global gas vehicle conference and exhibition NGV 2012 in Korea.
NGV 2012 is the biennial conference and exhibition of the Global Natural Gas Vehicle Association, held on 9-11 October 2012 in Chuncheon, located 40 minutes from the capital, Seoul.
The 2012 edition will be the first time the NGV event has been hosted in Asia in more than a decade, having previously taken place in Italy, Brazil, Egypt, Argentina and the US. The last event to be held in Asia was in Japan in 2000.
AES recently opened its head office at Centralworld in Bangkok, having established partner offices in Europe, the Middle East, China and America. The company’s next event is the 220,000sqm automotive aftermarket industry event AAITF 2012 in China, which takes place on 10–12 February in Guangzhou.
Earlier this week the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau issued a statement to reassure business travellers following the recent floods in the capital.
