MIDDLE EAST - Informa Exhibitions has chosen the Middle East arm of exhibition contractor Melville to provide a full suite of services across 14 of its UAE-based shows next year.
Trade shows now being supported by Melville include Power Water Middle East and Cityscape Abu Dhabi. The contractor will supply shell scheme, features, electrics, furniture and carpets.
Melville Middle East director of contracting services Yasser Al Maaytah said the appointment was a significant step forward for its UAE business given Informa’s leading position as a trade show organiser in the region. Melville also works with DMG, Clarion and UBM as well as venue ADNEC throughout the Middle East.
“This appointment is a very significant one for our UAE business and it reflects the success of our financial investment and our commitment to growing our operations in the Middle East,” Al Maaytah said.
Informa Exhibitions Middle East commercial director Nicky Mason pointed to Melville’s proven track record with major shows in the UAE as the basis for the appointment.
“We are excited about introducing service innovations to our exhibitors including the Melville Service Centre and the Melville Dashboard,” he added.
