Scheduled business set to trigger record business for Turkey golf expo

EUROPE - Reed Exhibitions’ pre-arranged appointment system has teed up more than 10,000 meetings over four days ahead of the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) next month.

The IGTM is expecting bumper business at its four-day global event for golf tourism suppliers, buyers and media in Belek,Turkey. The meeting system will allow 300 golf tour operators and 500 exhibitors to meet and do business at the event from November 14 to 17.

“Belek has proved itself to be a dynamic, high-quality golf travel destination that has captured the imagination and the market for international golf tourism,” said Reed Travel Exhibitions’ Peter Grimster, who has recently been promoted to exhibition manager.

“With an important strategic position, it is ideally located between Europe and Asia, which is why we are attracting thehighest ever number of Asian buyers and exhibitors including representatives from China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and India.”

Belek boasts golf courses designed by Sir Nick Faldo and Colin Montgomerie.

Last year, Reed Exhibitions China announced the acquisition of the China Golf Show.
