EVANS TO REPLACE TAYLOR AS CENTAUR EXHIBITIONS MD

UK - Andrew Evans will become the new MD of Centaur Exhibitions following the departure of Calum Taylor.

As previously reported in EW, Centaur announced Taylor’s resignation after a 22-year stint with the company last month. His last day is 31 August.

Evans, who is currently chief operating officer of Brand Events, will join Centaur Media’s operating board from 1 September. He announced his resignation from Brand Events in May and said he hoped to set up his own events business.

"Andrew has over 24 years of experience in the exhibitions industry, both in the UK and international markets and has led businesses operating with a focus on both business-to-business and business to consumer markets,” Centaur Media CEO Geoff Wilmot said.

"With the two other divisional managing directors on the newly established operating board, I am confident Andrew will play a key part in the future growth of Centaur."
