Reed reports gaming expo growth

MACAU – Reed Exhibitions China has grown its annual G2E Asia gaming event, co-organised with the American Gaming Association (AGA).

Running from 7 to 9 June at the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel, the show was visited by 5,700 attendees, a 25 per cent rise on 2010.

According to the organiser, visitors from Australia, the Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, China and Macau grew the most.

“The continued growth of G2E Asia is a testament to the increasing success of Asian gaming markets,” said AGA president and CEO Frank Fahrenkopf Jr. “With gaming across the region growing and evolving at such a rapid pace, it has never been more vital to anticipate trends, and harness innovations that will grow businesses and distinguish properties among increasingly fierce competition.”
