CHINA – China travel agent China International Travel Service (CITS) has come on board as a co-organiser for this year’s IT&CM China
TTG Asia Media and MP International, organisers of China’s meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) business and networking event IT&CM China hope the deal will strengthen the event’s reputation in both the international and domestic market.
“CITS is among the top 100 companies in China delivering one of the largest domestic and outbound leisure, corporate & MICE tourism business in the country,” said MD of TTG Asia Media Darren Ng. “Their knowledge of the China market and invaluable network will contribute significantly to raising the participation of Chinese exhibitors, buyers and media that the IT&CM China international delegates want to meet.”
The sixth edition of IT&CM China is hoped to net 400 buyers split evenly between international and Chinese buyers.
According to market research conducted by the organisers of IT&CM, 77 per cent of exhibitors have requested an increase in Chinese buyers at the 2012 event, held on 17-19 April 2012 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.
