Singex manager Singex Venues will provide student on-the-job training as part of the programme at Singapore's Institute of Technical Education.
The memorandum of understanding signed this week at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre will provide internship stints throughout the year to supplement and enhance the training of students in the areas of event and venue management, audio visual technology, customer service, and related business operation services.
The signing ceremony was followed by a half-day MICE Day, facilitated by students of the institute for their fellow course mates.
