Fastener Fair India goes off without a hitch

INDIA – The launch edition of Fastener Fair India has been hailed as a success by the organiser after drawing 4,800 visitors to the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

Half of the 90 exhibitors came from outside India, according to a statement issued by organiser Inter Ads – Brooks Exhibitions (India).

The next edition of Fastener Fair India will run from 17 to 18 April 2013 at the same venue.

“Consumer demand for cars, domestic appliances and electrical equipment as well as current and future infrastructure and energy projects mean that the Indian fastener and fixings industry will need to rapidly increase capacity to respond to this growth,” said organising partner Mack Brooks chairman Stephen Brooks. “It is in this context that we launched Fastener Fair India.”

Fastener Fair India 2011 was co-located with sheet metal working exhibition BLECH India 2011.

Mack Brooks also recently announced the launch of Fastener Fair Hannover, to run from 24 to 26 April 2012 alongside tech event Hannover Messe 2012.
