CHINA - UBM Asia’s joint-venture company UBM Sinoexpo has completed the 2011 edition of the Hotelex + Design & Deco (HDD) exhibition, which took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre on.
The event, aimed at comprehensive hotel services, space design and decoration industries, featured more than 2,000 local and overseas exhibitors and occupied more than 165,000sqm, according to UBM.
The event is estimated to have attracted 80,000 industry professionals over four days, with a strong focus on green energy.
A key element of HDD, Hotelex Shanghai, celebrates its 20th anniversary and has been growing steadily with the continuous development of the hotel industry in China.
This year’s event differed from previous years by featuring six brand exhibitions: Hotelex Shanghai; Expo Build China; Ceramics, Tile & Sanitary Ware China; ChinaClean Expo; Expo Light China, Expo Deco and China International Building & Interior Design Festival.
