AUSTRALIA - The Adelaide Event and Exhibition Centre (AEEC) will host the Adelaide Boat Show for the next five years, after signing a contract with the Boating Industry Association of South Australia (BIASA).
The deal means the next edition of the event will move to the AEEC from the Adelaide Convention Centre.
“The Adelaide showground will provide additional floor space for exhibitors and improved public access,” said BIASA GM Glen Jones. He added that the 2011 show will take place in a new, larger format.
The show, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary, will take place from 23 to 26 June 2011.
Earlier this year, the Adelaide Convention centre appointed architects for its expansion project.
