G2E Asia helps visitors customise exhibition experience

MACAU - Reed Exhibitions has announced a customisable show planner for visitors attending its upcoming Global GamingExpo Asia (G2E) Asia 2011 at the Venetian in Macau.

My G2E Asia Show Planner allows buyers to customise their show floor visits as well as contact exhibitors to set up appointments and collect product information from the event.

G2E will be held from 7 to 9 June at the Cotai Stip CotailExpo. Other new elements to this year’s show include a Security and Surveillance Pavilion and the Green/Lighting Pavilion showcase. Reed said it also revamped the show floor plan and launched a series of social networking campaigns and e-newsletters to attract visitors.

"Asia is where the growth is in global gaming, and research indicates the trend has only just begun," said Reed Exhibitions gaming vice-president Brian Thomas. "G2E Asia 2011 gathers the gaming industry together at a time when major projects in Macau and beyond are moving rapidly toward completion phase. It's the right event, in the right place, at the right time to benefit from the growth sweeping the gaming industry in Asia."

To coincide with G2E Asia 2011 and to tap into Cotai’s growing reputation as a gaming hub, Sands China and Galaxy Entertainment Group are enhancing its footprint in the city. Cotai’s gaming revenue increased 58 per cent to US$22.4bn last year.

G2E Asia 2011 is offering scholarship prizes to four students to help kick-start their careers in the gaming industry.
