ITE and Iteca Caspian launch five new shows in Azerbaijan

AZERBAIJAN - The season of international exhibitions and conferences organised by Iteca Caspian in Azerbaijan will begin in March of this year, and will all be held at the Baku Expo Center.

The exhibitions, which are officially supported by the Azerbaijan Government, are part of a series of 24 exhibitions planned to run in the country this year. According to the organiser, the importance of exhibitions to the country’s leadership is demonstrated by the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s (pictured) attendance at several national exhibitions.

The new projects are plastics and rubber expo Plastex Caspian; fast food fair IFFF Caspian; power and alternative energy expo Caspian Power; road infrastructure and public transport expo Road and Traffic, and SportExpo, which the organiser claims will be the first Azerbaijan international sport, sports wear and equipment exhibition.

Also launching this year is Caspian: Technologies for the Environment (CTE), an international exhibition and conference for environmental protection. The event has been commissioned by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan to address the use of green technology in improving the environment.

Iteca claims the success of the shows is the result of close cooperation with ITE Group, which works to attract national groups and international exhibitors to participate in Azerbaijani exhibitions through a network of offices including Iteca Caspian in Azerbaijan, ITE Moscow in Russia, EUF in Turkey, GiMA in Germany, ITE China and ITE Gulf, which represents the UAE.
