Aquatech India supported by Ministry of Urban Development

INDIA – Water technology show Aquatech India has received official support from the Ministry of Urban Development of the Government of India.

The event, held on 2-4 March, spans more than 10,000sqm at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, and is expected to attract around 200 international and national exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations on process, drinking, and waste water.

It is the second year the event has run and as with last year, the event will also host the international conference on Innovative Technologies in Water Sustainability, as well as the second edition of the Utility Leaders Forum, an event organised by the International Water Association (IWA) and the Indian Water Works Association (IWWA).

Last year’s show was opened by the Minister of Water Resources of India and attracted around 9,500 visitors from India and abroad, more than 250 conference delegates and 60 CEOs of utility water boards. The event was marked by attendance from China and France, present to learn about the latest innovations in water technology.

As well as India, Holland’s Amsterdam RAI, owner and organiser of Aquatech Global Events, organises similar drinking and waste water technology events in Europe, the USA, China and India.
