OMAN - Omani event management company Global Exhibitions and Conferences (GEC) is organising a new international exhibition to showcase products for setting up a modern ideal home.
The Home Show 2011, taking place on 13-15 December 2011, will cater to the needs of homeowners, developers and contractors looking for products that would enable them to build homes with distinctive designs.
With the patronage of the Ministry of Housing, the event will take place at the Oman International Exhibition Centre. General manager of GEC, CJ Paul, stressed that The Home Show 2011 is a very timely event given the ongoing implementation of multimillion-dollar residential projects in various parts of the sultanate.
"By showcasing a wide range of products and equipment for building an ideal home, The Home Show 2011 will truly be the definitive event for developers, contractors, interior designers and other industry professionals who are presently involved in constructing affordable housing and prestigious residential properties throughout the sultanate," he said.
As well as serving as a one-stop shop for all essential requirements in setting up a home, The Home Show 2011 will also provide manufacturers and suppliers with the right venue for introducing products directly to their target clients.
The Oman Government began this year with by breaking ground on its new Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat.
