ISO accreditation for ICC Durban

SOUTH AFRICA – The International Convention Centre Durban has been awarded the International Standards Organisation (ISO) 9001 and 22000, as well as the SANS 10330: HACCP accreditations from the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS).

The certifications cover quality management and food safety management systems.

“This achievement represents the ICC Durban’s continued commitment to fulfill a long-term business objective, to continual improvement of processes, meeting customers’ quality requirements, and enhancing customer satisfaction,” says ICC Durban Acting Chief Operating Officer, Jeremy Hurter.

Having successfully these accreditations, the venue now set its sights on achieving ISO 14001 and ISO 18001.  

“Surveillance audits will be conducted annually by the SABS. We continually monitor our systems and processes to ensure that they provide robust and effective solutions for our customers,” said Hurter.
