New Tradeshow Logic offers consultancy services to exhibition organisers

USA - A new consultancy group has been launched aiming to help USA exhibition organisers improve services and operational productivity.

Tradeshow Logic is the brainchild of several industry veterans including 40-year industry heavyweight Bonnie Aaron as its new chief; former GES vice-president BJ Enright as chairman; and former Andrews-Bartlett CEO Butch Bartlett as its chief strategy officer.

According to the company, it will help show organisers and event managers improve ROI, lower costs, increase efficiency and lift customer experience. Services include strategic planning and revenue building, operational detail management, budget development and containment, and full pre-, at- and post-event support. It will partner with organisers on an as-needed basis.

All three individuals were behind Tradeshow Logistics, which formed in 2000. Enright said Tradeshow Logic was born out of its changing customer consultancy model.

“We have helped customers develop and implement new models of engagement on the show floor, created new revenue opportunities, streamlined operational strategies and increased customer service ratings for our clients,” she said.

The company also announced TL Event Specs, a scalable online platform that allows show organisers to create an event resume, build tailored menus with drop down inventory lists for suppliers, create real-time event orders, track and review expenses and generate schedules for onsite activities. It can be accessed via an iPod, iPad or through the Internet.

According to recent research from the US Center for Exhibition Industry Services, the American industry finally chalked up growth in Q3, 2010 after nine consecutive quarters of decline.
