Middle East office for Vivid

Industry research firm Vivid Interface has appointed Sally Peers to head up its new office in Abu Dhabi. She will be responsible for lifting the company’s presence in the Middle East and North Africa.

Peers has extensive experience in events market research and was formerly a director of Exhibition Audience Audits, which was acquired by Vivid several years ago.

“We see emerging markets as very important to our long-term growth and we have increased our level of activity in the Middle East over the last 18 months,” said Vivid MD Geoffrey Dixon. “In opening an office in the UAE, we are showing our commitment to our clients.

“I see the MEA markets continuing to develop. The UAE in particular can provide a dynamic business hub for events but like all markets it is important to know how the markets work, how the markets are developing and who the important players are”.

Fellow exhibition industry player, Melville Exhibition and Event Service, announced a £500,000 investment into its Middle East business in July.
