USA – San Francisco’s annual Exotic Erotic Ball and Expo has been cancelled by the organiser hours ahead of its opening due largely to poor ticket sales.
The adult expo and Halloween bash was due to take on Friday and Saturday at the city’s Craneway Pavilion, a move from the Cow Palace venue on the other side of the bay where the event has been held for the past 10 years.
The organiser, Perry Mann, claims a combination of slow ticket sales, cost overruns and operational issues led to the last minute decision to pull the plug. Exhibitors and visitors to the event will be given a full refund, according to a spokesman for the Perry Mann.
In 2004 the event grew with the addition of a two-day adult expo.
