INDIA - The Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) is expanding its service and sales operations into Europe with a new office in Hanover.
BIEC has appointed international consultant Internex to handle its trade fair business. Internex will also be the European office for Bangalore International Exhibition Services (BIES), an organiser running new and innovative fairs at BIEC.
Internex will be responsible for all EU countries and Norway, Switzerland and Turkey.
With the new office, BIEC hopes to give exhibitors and associations wishing to participate in the trade fairs run by BIES access to services that support booking options and related professional consultancy services.
“We choose Hanover as our headquarters in Germany and Europe because this city has an excellent reputation globally in the trade fair industry,” said Abhijit Mukherjee, MD of BIES. “With Internex as our partner in Hanover, we will have access to Europe-wide networks and trade fair experience.”
