WORLD - Dutch online ticketing agency Ticketscript BV has merged with UK mobile ticketing company Trinity Mobile.
Operating under the name Ticketscript, the company will focus on expanding its leadership internationally, and finding innovation in ticketing solutions for trade shows and other events.
In the past few years the companies have provided ticketing solutions for more than 30,000 events. With the merger, Ticketscript becomes one of the largest supplier of self-service online and mobile ticketing solutions in Europe.
Chief executive and co-founder of Ticketscript, Frans Jonker, said the market is ready for “the next step towards more innovative mobile ticketing”.
“Ticketscript provides the answer for building-up your own community around events, via internet and mobile solutions, and will continue to expand internationally and develop advanced internet and mobile technology for the event industry,” he added.
Ticketscript, founded in 2006, provides event organisers with a plug-and-play online ticket shop for the sale of e-tickets via the event's own website. Alongside trade shows, the company is active in the music event, music venue, festival and sports event sectors.
Trinity Mobile, established in 2003, provides customers and partners with advanced mobile ticketing and loyalty solutions for live events including exhibitions, festivals, clubs, West End theatre shows and sporting events.
