Diversified Exhibitions AOG Exhibition and Conference sells out

AUSTRALIA – Diversified Exhibitions Australia, organiser of the Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference (AOG), claims it has sold out of floor space in all of the six halls of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. This was announced five months out from the 2011 event due date.

Accounting for a 20 per cent increase in floor space year-on-year, the increased show floor will host more than 400 local and international exhibitors such as Technip, Neptune Marine and GE Oil & Gas over the three days.

“We have sold out three months faster than last year and our exhibitor waiting list is already 20 companies strong and growing daily,” said exhibition director, Bill Hare, who added interest in Western Australia’s petroleum industry was at a new high.

The organiser took over the show in 2008 and changed it in 2009 from a biennial show to an annual one. This year’s show reported a 26 per cent increase in visitors to 9,821 (CAB audited) and 10 per cent increase in net space with 6,580sqm.

The 2011 event, which will be held from 24 to 26 March, will also include a careers day for the first time.

In March, EW reported Perth was to host biggest ever Oil and Gas Expo.
