ITE Group sees Russian exhibition growth

RUSSIA - International exhibition organiser ITE Group says it has seen its event space rebound at major UK and Russian events due to better trading conditions.

In Moscow, the Moscow International Motor Show and Worldfood Moscow each grew by around 25 per cent, from 10,100 to 12,700sqm and 16,700 to 20,900sqm respectively. The Moscow International Motor Show is now co-located with Messe Frankfurt’s Automechanika, which provided a platform for growth.

The MODA fashion event increased its space on 2009 by 21 per cent to 17,100sqm. The company partly attributes this increase to a new lingerie section, which added 2,000sqm in sales.

Revenues for the full year are expected to be around £112m (US$177m), down from £117 in 2009.

The Group had net cash of £20.6m as of 24 September 2010.
