THAILAND - Laguna Phuket has unveiled plans for a new events venue at their resort.
Latitude will be a 1,000sqm marquee-style structure, able to accommodate 800 for cocktails, and 600 for a sit-down banquet. An additional 450sqm pre-function area will also be available.
Scheduled for completion in the summer of this year, the marquee will have a centre height of 7.5m and side height of 4m. It will have removable walls, giving options for open-air style events as well as closed daytime conferences.
The owner hopes to market the venue’s proximity to Bang Tao beach, encouraging organisers to take advantage of the tropical backdrop for their events.
