Warsaw's EXPO XXI venue expands

Poland - The Warsaw International Expocentre Expo XXI has boosted its space by 3,600sqm with the opening of its newest hall.

The venue now has a total area of over 17,000sqm, and its four halls and 10 conference/meeting rooms can accommodate 13,500 people.

“Despite the economic slowdown, demand for modern exhibition and event space is not decreasing. In Warsaw there is still shortage of such space, so we’ve been trying to meet at least part of that demand with our investment,” says MD of the Warsaw International Expocentre EXPO XXI, Zaneta Berus, adding that new hall provides clients with new possibilities for fairs and events.

Key features of the new hall include a 10 metre high ceiling, a 10 metre high soundproof movable wall, floor loading amounting to six tons/sqm, and the possibility for suspending up to 45 tons of material from the ceiling.

More than 50 fairs, 150 conferences and congresses and 60 company events drawing a total of over 500,000 visitors take place annually at EXPO XXI Warsaw.
