UK-listed exhibition organiser and global information provider RELX is buying Arizona-based machine learning fraud prediction company Emailage, of Arizona, for a reported $480m.
Emailage uses machine-learning and its data to predict fraud online. The company will be integrated into RELX’s Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions, which also acquired San Diego-based ID Analytics recently and ThreatMetrix last year.
