Future plc, the international media group and magazine publisher, is marking the 30th anniversary of its Homebuilding & Renovating brand with a new era of investment.
The first edition of the Homebuilding & Renovating Show takes place from 26-29 March 2020 at the UK’s NEC in Birmingham. Further shows follow throughout the year in Glasgow, London, Edinburgh and more.
The company is launching a programme of activities and events in 2020, which aims to reinforce the growth of the renovation and self-build market.
This includes a special souvenir edition of Homebuilding & Renovating magazine, as well as four new Homebuilding & Renovating events.
The Homebuilding & Renovating Roadshow will debut at Chester Racecourse in September, aiming to expand the show’s appeal in the North of England.
Jason Orme, Content Director of Homebuilding & Renovating, commented: “Ever since the summer of 1990, Homebuilding & Renovating’s ethos has been to educate and inspire the creation of one-off houses while supporting the pioneering spirit of the self-builders and renovators, who continue to push boundaries to this day.
“Homebuilding & Renovating is an inclusive brand and has always proudly pushed building your own home as a realistic option for as many people as possible – if you can afford to buy a house, you can afford to build one.”
Nick Noble, Event Director of Homebuilding & Renovating, added: “Our combined channels attract the UK’s highest value homebuilding audience, with an average income of £77k, so we decided to expand our Home Interest portfolio with the addition of The Future Home Show, which caters for people’s appetite in the latest smart home technology and connected living products.
“Our commitment to constantly evolving and improving people’s experiences has now transcended the consumer sector and we’re currently looking at exciting new avenues in which we can support and recognise the trade area in which we operate. The Homebuilding & Renovating Awards and the Custom Build Summit are part of this venture.”
