Cambridgeshire-based events business QAV is celebrating its 20-year anniversary by continuing its expansion though the opening of a North American operation base in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
Since its inception in 2001, QAV has delivered live and virtual events globally. The expansion of operations across North America follows the opening of a European office in Valencia, Spain in March 2019. QAV further delivers services across Asia Pacific (APAC) and Latin American (LATAM) territories.
Ed Noble, event director of QAV-Global, said: “We are thrilled to be celebrating 20 years of QAV by opening a new office in North America and look forward to re-affirming some existing US client relations as well as making new connections in the US market, where our expertise can offer a fresh perspective on creative events.
“Technology has changed an enormously in the past two decades and this has had a massive impact on the way events are delivered. Our clients’ needs have changed as the way audiences live and work has evolved too.
“It is a myth to believe there has ever been a time of certainty in our industry and our agility has always been part of our strength. We were delivering online digital solutions for events before Covid-19 accelerated the current online trend and although the past year has presented us with unforeseen challenges, we have also embraced the opportunities that have arisen.
“Under normal circumstances, we would have been organising our 20-year party to mark this momentous occasion but when is anything ever normal? Like our clients, we’re looking forward to able to be able to come together again to celebrate and offer a moment of reflection on the past 20 years, but also look forward with anticipation and excitement on what the next 20 years could bring.”
