Global media and events company Terrapinn, has announced the acquisition of NoVacancy Expo, Australia’s largest trade show for the hotel and accommodation industry from National Media.
Launched in 2018, NoVacancy Expo serves the A$22bn hotel and accommodation market, bringing together the ecosystem of suppliers, buyers and investors seeking the latest solutions in technology, in-room, sustainability, furniture & design, operational, and guest experience.
The NoVacancy show team joins the Terrapinn business with immediate effect.
Terrapinn Australia’s managing director, Craig Macfarlane, said: “We have tracked the growth of NoVacancy over the years and are really excited to welcome it to our portfolio of leading events. We also look forward to welcoming the show team to Terrapinn.”

Mark Harvey, MD said the sale will enable National Media to continue its growth plans through both launch and strategic acquisitions in Australia.
Terrapinn will open the 2024 edition of NoVacancy Expo at the ICC Sydney Exhibition Centre on 18-19 September 2024.
