Claudia Requard, Executive Director of Scheduling and Planning at NürnbergMesse, has assumed the role of CEO/CFO of NürnbergMesse North America.
Reguard succeeds Thomas Preutenborbeck, who was appointed head of expo & congress on 1 September 2019.
Claudia Requard has been working in the tradefair business for 25 years and has spent the last eight years at NürnbergMesse. Requard previously worked at Koelnmesse, an exhibition company, where she held various positions over a 12-year period.
Due to her degree in International Marketing and Tourism in Denver, USA and her employment in both the USA and Venezuela, Requard is fluent in English and Spanish, in addition to having knowledge of the North American economic area (NAFTA).
As CEO/CFO she will share responsibility for the management of the US subsidiary with Bill Ingwersen, Managing Director of NürnbergMesse North America.
