The Exhibition Think Tank Club concludes digital venture

With the return of in-person exhibitions, the digital-only Exhibition Think Tank Club (ETT Club) has announced that it will end.

According to the company behind the Think Tank, the MBB Consulting Group, it will be refocusing on its core business as a consulting and education service provider for the industry. Furthermore, UFI will offer club members opportunities to stay engaged through UFI-moderated activities and channels.

The digital-only Think Tank was established in response to the halt in in-person exhibitions during the Covid-19 pandemic. Over time, the Think Tank peaked at 1,300 members based in 72 countries, including exhibition organisers, venues, suppliers, associations, students, consultants, and others.

The ETT Club will conclude with a final Think Tank on 31 January, which will discuss the think tank's achievements and the industry's future.

“Starting the ETT Club was one of the most rewarding projects I did in my career as I saw so many industry peers coming together and becoming friends all over the world,” said Matthias Tesi Baur, CEO of MBB-Consulting Group.
