The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has won the ‘Best Exhibition & Tradeshow Venue 2021’, awarded by APAC Insider in its South-East Asia Business Awards 2021.
KLCC general manager Alan Pryor said he was honoured to receive the award and that the government’s Business Events Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) had enabled the Centre to deliver consumer exhibitions and events that had been received well by organisers, exhibitors and visitors.
Although 2021 has been an unpredictable business operations landscape, the Centre said it has remained focused on its business sustainability through re-skilling and upskilling its team members, digital transformation and diversification of business models and revenue streams.
Pryor concluded: “This award is a great encouragement amidst such challenging times and provides a strong motivation for us to remain resilient and to continue positively pushing ahead, innovating and creating flexible meeting and events product offerings and solutions that meet our client needs across the board,”
Currently, the Centre is supporting the national immunisation programme as a mega vaccination centre.
