Australia - Diversified Exhibitions Australia (DEA), a division of Diversified Business Communications, has won five awards at the Exhibition and Event Association of Australiasia (EEAA) Awards for Excellence.
The organiser’s Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition won Best Australian Show and Best Trade Show Over 10,000sqm, both titles DEA also claimed in 2008.
DEA’s Good Food and Wine Melbourne show, snapped up the title of Best Consumer Show Over 10,000sqm for the second year running; and the Franchising Expo won Most Innovative Promotional Campaign.
The Australian Fitness and Health Expo’s exhibition manager, Ashley Robertson, received this year’s Richard Geddes Young Achiever Award.
“We’re expanding our event portfolio and always looking at ways we can ensure our exhibitions are first-class for investors, visitors and the industry,” said Matthew Pearce, Managing Director, Diversified Exhibitions Australia.
The EEAA success capped off a landmark 12 months for the company, which acquired the Australian assets of DMG World Media.
