France – The French association for fairs, exhibitions and conventions has expanded its remit to include wider events in an attempt to increase its international visibility.
Practically, the decision means the FSCF will now be known as the FSCEF (Foires, Salons, Congrès et Evénements de France), and essentially creates a joint collaboration between this association and France’s association of event communication companies, the ANAé.
“All companies of our industry in France now have a common umbrella in order to better develop exchanges between ourselves and promote this activity towards enterprises and institutions," says FSCEF president, Thierry Hesse. “In particular, all members will take benefit from the synergies we have between the Office de Justification des Statistiques - OJS (Office for the Justification of Statistics) and the numerous works done by ANAé in this sector of our activities.”
“We want to increase the visibility of the entire event community,” added ANAé president Philippe Fournier. Besides, as ANAé, we want to strengthen our secretariat in order to always better answer our member’s requests and to continue developing our projects."
