Russia - Easyfairs is expanding its international reach with the launch of its first show in Russia.
The organiser has entered into a joint venture with Russian event organiser Restec to launch packaging show Easyfairs Empack. The show, which took place at Lenexpo, St Petersburg, from 6-7 October 2009, attracted more than 1,500 visitors.
President and founder of Easyfairs, Eric Everard, says: “We are confident that the successful promotion of the show to packaging professionals in the region will attract further interest among both Russian and foreign exhibitors.”
A second edition of the show is planned for October 2010.
