Australia - The Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau has added the wine region Yarra Valley to its AIME 2010 pre-touring programme.
Designed to enable hosted buyers of the 18th Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo a chance to experience the incentive offerings of neighbouring regions, nine two-day excursions are offered on 27 – 28 February 2010.
MCVB’s CEO, Sandra Chipchase says that the AIME 2010 pre-touring program would offer more diversity than ever before: “Last year, we doubled our number of pre-tours, giving hosted buyers a choice of eleven different options. The program was so successful that we decided to increase it to 13 pre-tours to offer even greater diversity.
“We’ve added three new regional Victoria destinations, namely Yarra Valley, Southern Grampians and Mildura. With more options, I think hosted buyers will have a tough time deciding which destination to visit,” she adds.
AIME 2010, organised by Reed Travel Exhibitions, will be held 2-3 March at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Australia.
