The European Taxi Fair is hailing a ride from Cologne to Essen for next year’s edition, as the Messe Essen has announced the acquisition of seven trade fairs for 2022 and beyond.
The European Taxi Fair will take place 4-5 November 2022.
Oliver. P Kuhrt, managing director of Messe Essen, said: “First-class service, a state-of-the-art exhibition centre and the central location in the metropolis of the Ruhr region, which is experienced in change, are just some of the reasons why more and more international organisers are choosing Messe Essen.”
Dr Michael Stehr, managing director of the Fachvereinigung Personenverkehr Nordrhein, Taxi-Mietwagen e. V., a German association for taxi and car rentals, added: “Essen has convinced us in every respect as a location for the European Taxi Fair. Our exhibitors will find ideal conditions for a successful trade fair appearance with the modern infrastructure and the suitable size of the grounds.”
Messe Essen says demand from guest organisers at home and abroad shows signs that trade fairs are seen as an important motor for economic growth.

In total, more than 30 major trade fairs have been confirmed for the coming year in Essen.
